Video demo and Adobe Illustrator

I'm trying to create a video demo of some features in Adobe Illustrator. A common keyboard shortcut in Illustrator, as well as a number of other Adobe programs, is to select an object, hold down Alt (or Option on the Mac) and drag the object to make a duplicate of it. When I hold down Alt to make a duplicate when capturing a video demo, Captivate freezes. Is there a way to use the Alt key without freezing the video demo capture?

    Correct answer Lilybiri

Could see the problem, and have no solution Jay. I would switch to Camtasia in this example, and you know that I am a Captivate fan.

I didn't try with Presenter, because cannot install latest version for some reason. Maybe it works there? But of course editing possibilities are much more limited.

Just ranting. I hope that Adobe will fix this problem with Captivate. Many times I hear Captivate users say that Captivate is buggy, and it is problems like this that result in those comments.

Thanks to you, Lilybiri, and your persistent feedback to Adobe, some of the problems have been addressed.
