Video Express only plays back cam video - INTERNAL ERROR when clicking other views

Today I installed the trial Video Express 10 on my iMac. I have not been able to successfully use it yet.

After I record, my playback only show the cam video. When I click any of the other buttons to show screen or screen/video combo. I get an Error message says "Application encountered and internal error" If problem persists, contact forms or support. I get the same error message when after a few seconds trying to "Publish to Computer"

I haven't found mention of this problem on this forum. Anyone know what's wrong or how to fix it?

Thanks, James

Ps. If it matters, I also have a purchased Captive 8 on this computer.

James,

I had the same problem with the new Presenter 10 being used on a new iMac. Anytime I clicked on something other than CAM view it would get the "Internal Error" message, and then nothing worked correctly.

Here's what fixed it for me:

  1. Open Video Express
  2. Before you click the green + sign to open a new project, click the Preferences icon in the upper right hand corner (looks like a cog in a machine)
  3. Choose "Preferences"
  4. Click "Change Resolution During Playback" - or un-check it if it's checked (mine was unchecked so I checked it)
  5. Now open a new project and try again

This worked for me. I hope it works for you.

Peace.
