Video freezes in Captivate 8

I have added a video slide to my presentation and it plays fine in the preview mode but in the published version the video starts to load and then freezes.

Does the video EVENTUALLY start playing again? If so, then your issue is likely that your video is too big for the available bandwidth and you need to investigate how to make it smaller or break it into smaller chunks.

If the video NEVER ends up playing, then there may be something else interfering or blocking the file type. If you are testing this from your local drive, check your Flash Global Security settings or antivirus software. If testing from a web server, try linking directly to the video on the server with a link in your browser to see if the playback is seamless.
