Need your help!

Inserted a video in Adobe Captivate 6 and published it to the LMS. When I try to open it in the LMS it's taking a long time to load. I am working on a fast Internet and it still takes a long time. I need your help on how to best compress the video in Captivate 6 so that I do not have the lag time I do. I am doing the Progressive Download on it.

Hi Ryan.

What wrapper are you using?

flv or f4v?

What is the filesize?

I use video a lot in my products so may well be able to help.

We're using MP4 as the video wrapper and the size of the video that currently takes 90 seconds to load is 77.3MB. I was looking into the prelaoder piece and have it set at 30% but that doesn't make a difference. I also have tried to mess with the SWF size and quality; just is not making any difference.

How long would it normally take for you to download a 25 megabyte file from the same web location?  Would a minute and a half be about right?
