Video playback has flashes and white screens between slides

I have imported some video into slides and also created content slides in my project file.  I published it as a video.  During the playback, I see white screens on which the player is attempting to load the next slide with a video attached OR I see flashes at the start of a video.  I do not know how to fix it. Any ideas?
