video playback issues

HI,

i am using a video fro one of my courses.

I used the slide video option (see image below)

and when i previewed using the web preview feature before publishing it, it plays. But once i uploaded to the LMS it did not and it gave me an error message in the slide.

So I went back and changed it to insert a FLC or F4V file which it seemed to be a better option because i now have the playback buttons within the screen

, it also played back during the web preview but when i upload it to our LMS, the video slide (as seen above) appeas on the screen but it doesnt play when you click the play button.

Are there any settings I am supposed to apply to the course before publishing it so it plays correctly once the learner access the actual course on the LMS?

Any help is greatly appreciated

    Did you copy the FLV or F4V file into the publish folder? If not, the video might not be accessible to the movie once it's uploaded to the server.  When inserting video it's usually best to copy the video file into the same publish location as the SWF file of the Captivate movie.  Then all you need as a URL relative path is the file name of the video file.
