So you are using the second option Insert, Recording Slide, Video Demo? Can you confirm? And is the timeline of the slide having a red line in the center?

Or maybe, could you post a screenshot of the timeline?

If this is the case, select that slide and look in the Properties panel, use button 'Edit Video Demo'

PS: in this case the video will be previewed if you use one of the preview modes, even playing the slide with the control buttons in the Timeline panel.

You have to record a video demo, when ended the Preview window will open automatically, and at the bottom right you'll find the button Edit Video Demo.

Or if you are working in a CPTX-file, you can insert a Recording slide, choose for Video demo, when ending capture same Preview window will open, with the button Edit Video Demo.

Thank you. My settings must be incorrect because I do not get the preview window. Once I press End to finish recording, the recording is rendered to a single slide within the presentation.
