Video/Web object overrides keyboard shortcut
I'm using Captivate 2017 and having an issue with 508 compliance on embedded video slides. I'm using web objects to embed YouTube videos as opposed to the YouTube Learning Interaction. This is because the learning interaction has been non-functional for at least a couple of years now, to the best of my knowledge.
All of my slides are keyboard-accessible. Users can advance and go back using the right and left arrow keys. But on video slides, the button shortcuts are overridden by the YouTube video controls. I'd rather keep the 'back' and 'forward' shortcut keys consistent on all slides, but I'm stuck on what to do about this issue. The only solution I can think of is to create a 'skip video' button and make the shortcut key 'S' instead of the arrow.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue and found a better solution? Or is there any new workaround for the YouTube learning interaction that I'm not aware of?
Thanks,
Steve
