I created a project with videos. I can see the videos in Preview mode, but not when I publish. How can I correct this problem?

    Hi Valerie,

You need to host your published files on a web server or LMS to see the videos.

And you also need to make sure that your web server or LMS is set up to allow the MP4 video mimetype.  Not all web servers will serve MP4 video by default.  Check with your server administrator.

    Hi,

Thank you for the responses. No success yet. I have tried the following:

    1. Moving the published files (needless to say - preserving the folder structure created upon publish) onto a web server. I assumed that when I point to the index.html file on the web server,  the training would play out. I does not it hangs.

    2. I opened an account on Captivate Prime and published to there, but it hangs and does not open.

    What should I do?

    Thanks

    Valerie

    Hi Valerie,

Can you please share the version of Captivate you are using and the output type you have published?

Inserted as event or multislide synchronized video?
