Videos in captivate

Hi

I am just wondering if anyone has implemented videos onto their captivate programmes? I currently have click boxes which link to external videos on Vimeo, but I am hoping to try and embed the video in the porogramme so it doesn't need to be viewed externally?

I notice there is an FLV or F4V insert option but if I wanted my programme to work on iPad this video would not work? So can an alternative video format be inserted?

Has anyone made a programme for iPad with video content in it?

Cheers

    Hi!

Are you using Captivate 6? As you could publish to HTML 5 using that for iPads.

If you want your users to be directed to the Video Page from with in Captivate, you can set the Action on ClickBox " On Success" to open a File and URL and put the Source URL, you can also manage to open it in same or new window.

Or, if you specifically want to add them as a iPad supported video format ( as FLV or F4V) might not work, you could download them as MP4 ( or even use Adobe Media Encoder to convert) and add them Manually as Event Video or Multi Slide Synchronise Video.

    Thanks!

I am using Captivate 5.5. I currently have the videos set to open a URL, which is what I dont. If possible I want it all to run within the same window.

I will try the video convert option as you have stated.

    Cheers
