Question

Videos in Captivate causing issues.

Hey everyone.  I've run into a very weird issue with Adobe Captivate in terms of videos  and their reactions when loaded onto the LMS.

The videos are always loaded as an event video to allow the learner to have the option to fast forward and pause the video.  However, recently I've noticed that when I preview the course I've created in HTML or in the LMS itself, when I pause the video at any point, the video will skip to the end.

Now sometimes after I refresh the page, the video will work as intended, but it's not an ideal situation.  We do have advanced actions in place for each respective video, but I have also tried to run the video without any advanced actions and still got the same result.

I am curious if anyone on these forums has run into issues with Captivate and videos (specifically this situation) and what they have done to correct it.  I've checked all of my basic settings and havent found anything that would correct this.

I look forward to hearing from you all and thanks.

I also would like to add that the video also will also skip to the end when you replay the video a 2nd time.  I forgot to mention that in the original posting.

Which version do you use? Please, give the full version number as mentioned under Help, About Captivate.

Event video plays completely independent from Captivate's timeline and control. I wonder which advanced actions you used on those slides.

Hey Lily.  I am using captivate 2019 (64 bit) version 11.5.5.553.  I have also attached the advanced action that is used on all of the videos in my captivate course.  If there is any additional information you need from me, please let me know.
