Videos stop playing?

I am trying to create a video demo with text to speech narration (Captivate 8 on Windows 7 Pro). I also need to have a way to jump through different sections (like a menu). I made 11 recordings and inserted each of them as a CPVC slide into a CPTX project (Insert > CPVC Slide...) and published to HTML5/SWF. Everything works fine except each of the videos freezes after the first second or so.

Do you have any interactive objects on the timeline that might be pausing the playback at the point where the video is 'freezing'?

Are you just perhaps experiencing a buffering issue where the video is too large for the available bandwidth?  (If this is the issue, the video should start playing again briefly after it downloads some more.)

Yep that was it. I had added a Menu button on the screen to jump back to the menu. When I took that off, it works. Thank you.

Does this help?

https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/using/record-video-demonstrations.html

Start Time:Indicates from which point in Timeline the video is published. By default, the value is set to the beginning of the video clip.

End Time:Indicates until which point in Timeline the video is published. By default, the value is set to the end of the video clip.

In case it's a publishing issue...

Otherwise check the timeline. It may be really short since there's a CPVC video and TTS... If the timeline looks really short, try extending it for the same time as the video...
