View a .swf from a Mac

Hi Community,

This seems like a simple question to me but I can't seem to find an answer in the forums...

If I am using a Mac, how can I view a .swf file? Is a plug-in needed?

Here is the situation...we are creating training for new hires BEFORE the first day in the office. Some of these new hires will be using Macs at home.

This training will be stored on our CMS which does not allow HTML, however, it does allow for .SWF files.

If a new hire tries to access the .swf from a Mac it cannot be displayed.

What suggestions do you (the community) have for this scenario?

BTW-We are using Cap 5.5.

Thank you in advance,

Susan

SWF needs Adobe Flash Player plug-in, which is not supported by Apple devices. So, your can either convert your SWF output to mp4 (plenty of tools available on the net for that) or publish your file as an mp4 output.

Here is a short video demonstrating Publish to mp4 feature in Captivate 5.5.
