We got intermittent issues with sound that are cut in parts of the scorm package.

We have imported the sound to the timeline. There are a number of different small sound files that are imported to different parts of the project. We then export the project to HTML5 as a scorm package.

I open the scorm file in IE11 and intermittent the sound gots cut of.

Anyone seen this issue?

I'd be curious to see if these glitches could possibly be caused by Captivate's communications with the SCORM API during playback.

Try turning off Interaction Data in Quiz > Reporting, and in the Advanced button dialog, set it to Never Send Resume Data and make sure Send Data on Every Slide is NOT selected.  As a last resort you could even change the SCORM template to SendTrackingDataAtEnd.

Once all of these means of communication have been turned off, the SCO should only be talking to the LMS at the end of the module.  See if THEN you get the same glitches in audio or not.  If it's resolved, try turning the options on again one at a time to see when the glitches return.

Thanks, we will look at this. I guess however this will have an impact on the reporting back to the LMS.

I'm suggesting these steps as a way to test whether your issue is related to the LMS communication.

If it turns out that it is not, then you should be able to leave all the settings as they were before.

However, if it turns out that changing these settings DOES make a difference then at least you have the ability to make an informed choice about what you need to forego.
