Question

What Closed Captioning decoder does Captivate support?

I'm looking for information on Captivate's Closed Capitoning decoder used to generate CC in .swf file formats.

QuickTime Player supports standard CEA-608 closed captions. (Version 7.1.6 or higher is required to playback media with closed captions) and Windows Media Player enables Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) closed captions to display the closed caption text during playback.

When publishing to an .avi format (vanilla video format), the CC text is not publishing using any of the Windows and Adobe included codecs with the product.

Maybe this is a question for Adobe, if so does anyone have a URL or email to send this question to?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer.

Cher
