What is the future of executable outputs (NOT flash related but rather PE file output)?

Question

My question is related to the executable output itself and not the technology used to generate it. My question is, with Flash dead, exe outputs are defunct. Is there any plan from Adobe to fix it using a different technology or will executable outputs be EOLed completely?

Can someone from Adobe comment?

As this is generally a community forum made up of users like us, I doubt you will hear from Adobe directly. They also don't generally respond to questions about future releases that haven't been built yet for understandable reasons. You might try reaching out to Adobe using the feature request form and let me know that you are looking for this functionality for a future release.
