What is this icon that is appearing and how can I make it go away?

Upon publish of a responsive project built in 2017, I have these weird icons showing up on my captions.

I've never seen it before upon publish and I'm not sure what they mean or how to make them go away. In the published version, when you click on them the whole screen fades out and just the text that is in the caption shows at the top. I'd appreciate any assistance anyone might have.

You are creating a responsive projet in CP2017. That icon will appear when published if the text cannot fit anymore in the available space.

So strange as I've published this course before and have never seen that. Maybe the last time I published I was still using Captivate 9. So, if I change the text size or move it to a blank project it should remedy the icon issue?

Legend

CP9 didn't have the Fluid Boxes workflow for responsive projects, it is brand new. Have a look at:

I don't understand your last sentence: do you need a responsive project? You cannot convert a responsive project to a non-responsive blank project.

If you decrease the font size it could disappear.
