when I export an animated gif from photoshop and try and import it into captivate I get a message saying the file is not a proper gif

I followed this tutorial here, and I can export what looks like a gif that plays in quicktime but it just won't go into captivate when I chose import animation. If i chose import image then I just get a still image in captivate.
