When I publish my project to my desktop and add the files to an internal server, the video portion freezes.  I've tested publishing the zip file to an LMS and this works, but I'm unsure of how to get this to work on an internal server.  I changed the quiz settings to internal server, and added the server address but this doesn't seem to help.

Adobe support basically told me it's not their issue since the file published to the LMS.  But I believe there may be something I'm missing when publishing it that will get the files to publish correctly like they do when I change the option to LMS in the quiz properties window.

Are you actually hosting the video files on your internal server and launching them with a relative link?

If so, the webserver may need to have specific extensions (.mp4) enabled via mimetypes.

Also, if this is your approach, you should verify that your LMS agreement won't add billing charges for the video bandwidth.

Alternatively, most LMSs have implemented additional charges to ensure that video is hosted on a streaming server or service, like Vimeo or YouTube, so the bandwidth of the LMS is focused on accessing content metadata, rather than serving it.

This approach can involve a webobject accessing video via an embed url and special paramaters can be added to the URL to add/suppress controls or branding to maintain your project's user experience goals.

    Thanks for your response.

I am uploading the files to the server and I see that part of the files are mp4 videos that were in the project, so I'm not sure why the MP4s aren't playing when it's uploaded into the project.

I have no issues with the LMS but I'm really focusing on getting it on to a server because I think we would rather have it on a secured web site then run through the LMS.  But I am unable to get the video to play when placing the files on the server.
