When previewing my project in browser, red splotches appear over a drop down in my window!

Please help - something strange is happening!  I'm working on a project that has several components of web-based simulations.  I've noticed that when I play the project in browser (any browser) red patches appear over the search bar when the simulation begins to type in it.  Then, the project progresses fine for about 25 slides and then it cuts completely to black. I can't get it to continue with the play bar, and if it is continuing I can't see it because the player only shows as black inside the local host screen.  Has anyone else experienced this, and is there someway to fix it? I really can't afford the time to start all over!
