Question

When publishing a project using Captivate 9, the audio is distorted, almost like skipping and repeating . Any way to stop this?

I created a project in Captivate 9, Version 9.0.2.437.  No videos included.  Created the narration within the project.  The narration plays perfectly in the preview option.  After publishing to an .mp4 thee is a distortion of the audio on one of the slides.  Any suggestions?

Hi Beth, 

It is weird that it only affects one slide. The distortion could have been introduced during the narration of that single slide. I would first rule that out, by re-narrating it. If its still present we can troubleshoot from then.

Thanks Steve!  I did re-narrate it.  I looked at the publishing properties and I had it set to 80%, once I changes that to 100% -the highest quality I could publish at, it worked.  For the original, when published to a .swf file it worked beautifully.
