Question

When publishing a quiz, answer choice text format messes up.

Using Captivate 4 on a Dell Latitude XT running Vista. Here is the Skinny! When I make a multiple choice quiz, the question slides look fine in filmstrip mode but when I preview or publish the quiz, the letters of each answer choice overlapps the actual answer text.

Your images are QUEUED, which means they have to be approved first, and that can take some time. A workaround is possible: insert your images directly in your posting, by using the small 'camera' icon in the toolbar, to the right of the alignment tools.

Formatting text in multiple choice question slides could be better, especially if you are using pretty long sentences. I'm always editing these sentences manually in this way:

    1. try to make the 'box' for each sentence have the same dimensions (in Properties, Size and position, you can use Apply to all); for the horizontal dimension be sure that is really smaller than the question slide (to avoid the spilling over)
    2. position the first and the last sentences as far away from each other as possible (vertically)
    3. select all sentences p.e. by lassoing them
    4. choose Align, Distributing vertically

I am having the same issue and tried your workaround but have had no luck whatsoever.

Captivate needs to fix this, not the user.

This is a thread of almost 10 years old. You show a responsive project, with breakpoint views. Did you set up the object style for all the breakpoints?

It would have been better to start a new thread.
