Hi All,

I have recently completed using Captivate to do record my voice onto captions inside the Captivate presentation.
The laptop I am using needs to be replaced. Therefore does Captivate store  my voice recording to a folder on my PC laptop ? Or is all the audio stored within the Captivate Presentation Library?

    Hi there,

The audio you have recorded is stored inside the .cptx files' library.

You can export those audio files for back up purpose by exporting those audio files from the library, select that audio file (or CNTRL + select for multiple), then right click and click on export,

Or click on Audio > Audio Management , select the audio files and click on export.

    Thanks.

    Hello There,

The Audio recorded from captivate get saved in the library of the project . If you move the .cptx ( Source ) file to a new location then the audio associated with that project will also  move.

If you want to save the audio or any other items from Captivate library you can export it to your Computer .

Please see the screenshot below :

    Hope this Helps!

    Thanks and Regards
