Where did my top menu buttons for captivate go?

Since I upgraded to newest captivate version, the top menu tools/buttons that give me actions like: Slides, themes, text, shapes, objects, interactions, etc... are missing.  I can't figure out how to get them back, or how to do what I want without them.

Also my panels are floating and I cannot get them to dock anywhere.

I am working on a mac on version 9.0.2.437

Thanks for any help!

Did you try to clean the Preferences? Look in the subfolder 'utils' under the installation folder of Captivate for the file CleanPreferencesMac and run it. Captivate has to be closed while doing that.
