Where does the filmstrip go when creating a video demo?

Whenever I create a video demo, the filmstrip disappears on my preview. How can I get it back?

    The film strip exists only for the slide by slide type of recording or editing.

    Video demo is one long video. There is no film strip.

    Well, when you think of it, it makes total sense. If you look at something like Premiere Pro, there is nothing like a film strip there. And really, what purpose would it serve?

    I'm not sure I've ever seen a video editing application that has a similar feature.
