Question

Where's the fix for email reporting???

I was assured by an Adobe salesperson named Brian that  the 3 problems/issues I was experiencing with my CP5 trial would become fully  functional once I purchased the product.
My 3 issues are:

1.the email reporting feature does not work, only a BLANK email is produced. Nothing in the body and nothing is attached.

2. The numbering of the questions from the template  are not sequential  and cannot be altered or removed, so I have several questions in the  middle of my survey that have 1.), 1.), 1.) beside them... this makes no  sense to the learner taking the quiz or me.

3. The Adobe Quiz results analyzer does not work for me.

I have  since installed the license number after I reluctantly purchased the  product. Brian also told me that I would have access to customer suppot  at no charge and he provide a number to call. I tried to call the customer support line and was quickly  told that I could only get help for a fee. Why do I have to pay a help fee for an obvious known issue??  I have submitted a bug  report, but go no response. This project was due for my company LAST  WEEK.

I'm am very frustrated with this whole thing.  I can't believe that  in this day and age you can purchase a product and get no help for known and existing  issues on top of being lied to.

Anyone, please provide direction ASAP as I have late deadline to meet for my company.

Hello,

I'm only a user like you, and can only offer some suggestions. First of all, the trial version is fully functional, that salesperson was simply lying to you.

First of all: did you install the patch that was released in December 2010? Normally this is possible from the Help, Updates. Quite a lot of bugs were solved with this global patch.

What do you really mean by the second question (have no idea what is wrong with the e-mail reporting, never use it myself because it not only depends on CP but also on different mail-clients to be totally functional)? Could you explain a little bit more, perhaps it is only a terminology issue for me because I'm not a native English speaker, but do use CP in English? Are you referring to the Progress indicator "Question X of Y'? You are talking about a template, do you base your projects on a customized template?  But from the way you show the numbering, I think you are referring to the numbers on the question slides themselves? Each question slide if having more than one answer/sentence has its own numbering, you can change the formatting in the Quiz Properties panel, General accordion (see screenshot). Those numbers will be used in the Review and for reporting. When reporting to a LMS you'll see that the number chosen by the user for Question X is A (if numbering is with letters). If you want the number of the question in the quiz, show the Progress indicator in the Quiz Properties.

What is the problem with the Quiz Results Analyzer: how do you report, to acrobat.com or to an internal server? Can you explain, please?

Thanks for your prompt response.  Since I am doing a survey, I only wanted to see one question per slide view. All of the survey questions in this survey have 1.) or A.) & as they are on different slides this sequence just repeats over and over. There does not seem to be a way to match the question # to the progress indicator OR just have all the question #s to be the progress indicators.

Also, I deployed these surveys in various browsers and reported results to acrobat.com with a sample learner account and the window never closes, I just get reporting to acrobat.com pop-up on the screen that stays on forever.
