Which forum: forums.adobe.com vs

I was wondering why there are 2 x forums for Captivate?

This one and the eLearning community @ elearning.adobe.com

Will they ever be consolidated?

Does searching in one forum, extend to the other?

We wonder the same thing.

Multiplying forums does NOT mean better answers for end users. It just means you have to search for those answers in more places, and those that are mainly here giving answers end up having to keep an eye on several different web locations to respond to questions. It's just more work for no extra benefit.

Consolidating the forums would make good sense.

Yes. But that's because most of us have given up on trying to monitor both forums. We just watch this one and respond to questions here. Adobe copies things to the other community forum to make it look better.
