While recording in Adobe Captivate 9 how to get rid of red outline box in the screen when Application window option is selected for size

For Adobe Captivate 9 recording window, even when I select the option Application window in Application size. The red outline is displayed on the screen with only half of the area covered. How to get rid of red outline box in the screen. I am using Windows 10.

Check your Screen Resolution % settings in Windows 10.  The issue you describe is usually due to not having your display settings at 100%.

I have already set the resolution to 100% as I was facing other issues because of high resolution but still this issue persists.

Are you recording simulation screens from within an already open CPTX set to a given height and width, or are you using File > Record New > Software Simulation to initiate the capture?

If you are trying to add slides to an existing CPTX you will always be limited to capturing at exactly the same height and width as the existing project size.
