White flashes between slides once published HTML5

I am using Captivate 2017, publishing as HTML5, have slide transitions set to fade. Looks great in preview but once published and played back, white flash between every slide. When i set to No Transition for the slides, there is no issue. Need to have slides with the fade transition. Thanks in advance...

    Slide transitions are mentioned to be incompatible with HTML output.  Look at:

    Hi Wrightco1212,

    Suggestion on Slide Transitions:

    As others in the discussion thread have mentioned slide transitions are not supported in HTML5.

     

    Take advantage of using the timeline. 

    Depending on the size of your project you may be able to improvise by using the timeline.

     

    Test the following on a few slides:

    - At the beginning of the timeline select the items (graphics, objects, shapes, text captions, etc.)

    - Then on the timeline drag those items forward to about 5 seconds or less.

    - Each of the timeline items need to be set for “Fade In Only” if possible.

    5 seconds? Beware: you cannot do this on a D&D slide because all objects need to be on the slide from the first frame.

    Fading in an object to avoid flickering is an old workaround, that is not always efficient. A more efficient way I use often (since CP9) is to hide the object and use the Delay Next actions command with a very short time, 0,1sec.

    Fade transition between slides is not 'technically' supported by all browsers in HTML5.  I have found it to work OK for most desktop web browsers but not for mobile browsers.  Bottom line is that if your audience is likely to include mobiles, don't use it.
