Why are my all my slides coming up with with a Drag and Drop tab? What stupid thing did I do?

   You might have Drag and Drop in one of your slides. To remove the drag and drop panel, Go to Window --> Drag and Drop, Select and deselect.

Can you show a screenshot? Did you edit the main master slide?

When rereading your very concise question, I wonder if you are not telling that you see the workspace set with the Drag&Drop panel in front in the right docking station, while you expected to see the Properties panel in front? Try to reset the workspace Classic in that case, from the dropdown list top right where you see 'Classic'. I suppose you are using the Newbie interface? I'm not sure you can deselect Drag&Drop from the Window menu for that UI, but resetting the workspace should work.
