Question

Why are preview and published content not doing the same thing?

I am developing a few modules with Shared Actions, and am finding that what shows up in preview mode is quite different from what gets published. Specifically, I have a text entry box that doesn't gain focus, and a state change that doesn't occur in publish mode. In preview both things work fine.

Anyone else see that kind of thing?

Normal project or responsive project? Publishing to HTML5 or SWF?

SWF - Normal project (I think)

If you publish to SWF it can only be a normal project, never a responsive project.

Which Preview methods did you use? Do never use 'Play Slide' because that is NOT a preview method at all. Best Preview is with F12, Preview in Browser. Can you explain, show which differences you see between the Published SWF, to be launched with the companion HTM file and the Preview in Browser? Not being the same is typical for HTML5 output, but much less for SWF output.
