Why are there no slide numbers? How do you fix?

It appears that some slides have page numbers and some don't. Is there a feature I select on, or off, to show page numbers?

Insert the system variable cpInfoCurrentSlide in a text container using the

X button in the Character part of the Properties panel, Style. Time the

text container for the rest of the project, always on top. Or put it on

masyer slides. All slides are numbered.
