Question

why can't i add manual zoom in ( Captivate 8) cptx project instead of cpvc?

I would like to edit the various captured video slides that i have in my project, which also has ppt slides and some other stuff.

I see that the slides are shown as "no properties," so i cannot add zoom or zoom out. I can do this in cpvc, but it is tedious to have to keep a cpvc project for each sequence of captured video. Am i doing something wrong with cptx project settings ? This seems like an arbitrary and unwanted limitation.

Now i can reply to my original question, after stumbling upon it. you can edit a particular video demo slide  even if the  project is not a cpvc project. you have to select the slide, and then on the right where the properties are displayed, you click the "edit video demo" button. then the editor behaves the same way it would in a pure viedo project, and i am free to do things like add a pan or zoom. The timeline at the bottom changes and pan and zoom are allowed.  this was my original question. my slides were combined to begin with.

This is not possible for captured slides in cptx, after capture. You can pan during capture. And when capturing in a responsive design project, for mobile there will be an automatic zoom/pan inserted that you can edit.

thanks. I see no reason for captivat to have this arbitrary limitation. any comments from elsewhere ?  I am not interested in resposive object.
