Why can't I save a new theme that I have created in Captivate 9?

I have changed the background on one of the current themes and want to save it as a new theme to be used all the time for my work. I can save it as a template but when I populate it with what is required it won't let me save it as a project.  Any suggestions please?

It looks like you are confusing themes and templates. A theme, which

includes object styles and master slides is saved using the Themes menu,

has extension cptm. You can apply it to any project, using Themes button. A

template is created with File, New Template, has extension cptl. To use

this template for a project you need the option File, New Project from
