Why did Captivate 2017 stop seeing my old captivate (9) projects?

Hi! My new captivate 2017 stopped seeing my old captivate (9) projects. If I try to "open with" option, captivate is not even on the list. However, I can open the projects ok from within the captivate menu (file-open recent). Please advise!

    Correct answer Lilybiri

Long time ago I learned that opening first the application, then open a project within the application is often the best way. I know this is not the answer you expected, but since I have on one system 5 versions of CP,  it seems to be impossible to link the correct version to the projects. Maybe someone else has a better advice, but this answer is just based on my experience with a system that wants to open all CP-files, with CP6.

Thanks! Indeed, CP has no issues opening projects within the application. Your reply made me wonder if this issue appears if you have more than one version of CP installed on the computer (which in my case 9 and 2017).
