Why do objects stop 'playing' after they're loaded?

I am having this happen on multiple slides. I've added some type of animation (i.e. an entrance animation) and the first object will start to come in and then just stop. To get it to continue I have to press play. I have checked the length of the slide and it is fine. I've checked the timing and there doesnt' appear to be anything strange. All my objects are set to display for the rest of the slide and simply have an animation trigger set to them. Anyone know how I can get it to stop stopping and just play all the way through?? Thank you.

It is not the whole timeline, but I see just the bottom of the culprit on top (above Text_animation_9): there is an interactive object (green timeline) that is pausing at the default 1.5secs. That explains why the slide is just waiting at 1.5 sec, which means that only the first Smartshape is loading.

Select that interactive object (a button I suspect), and either drag the pausing to later on the slide (after the end of the effect on the last Smartshape) or use the Timing panel to change the pausing. Do you have audio on that slide? Or is there another reason why that slide is so long? The part after the pausing point, if it is later than the time I talked about, is 'inactive': slide will pause, no need to make it much longer unless you need it for slide audio. I cannot see if you have slide audio neither. Do you know that you can increase the height of the timeline by dragging the top of that panel?

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline?

Sure. So in this example, the slide is stopping after the first shape, the one that says "This training program will teach you HIPAA..."
