Why does next button not track correct answers in a quiz?

Hi, I'm making a quiz, and I noticed that I have to click submit on each quiz slide to log my answer. If I simply click next on the quiz slide, I expect it to log my answer. However, it reports instantlyy that I got that question wrong, even if I chose the correct answer on the quiz slide. How do I make the next button recognise that I answered a question correctly? Or how can I make the submit button also advance to the next slide so I can remove the next button?

I'm using the latest version of Captivate and Previewing with Preview->Project. My reporting option is set to Adobe Connect.

Next button during quiz has the function of a Skip button. It was even labeled that way in previous versions. It is necessary as Next button during quiz review. I recommend mostly to drag the Next button under the Clear button, so that the user doesn't use it for Submitting a question, which has to be done using the Submit button. Have a look at my blog posts (I presented today about quizzing in DevLearn):

Oh jeez that's not very intuitive. So to proceed to the next question, a user has to submit an answer, then skip/next to the next slide? Is there a way to change that? I had a look at your blog but there is a LOT of info there and was hard to make sense of what's relevant to me.

Really? You are the first to complain. You do not need the Next buiton

during quiz, drag it under the Clear button. This can be done on the master

    slide. That is just it.
