Free wordpress themes in 2006 had more customization than this program. Get it together.

You mentioned Wordpress and from your list above, it seems that you want Captivate to be a web-design tool. That’s not its main function.

However, feel free to post your requests here (search for similar requests first):

Before coming here I submitted many ideas and upvoted many others.

I know it’s not a web design tool. Its not even a design tool. Power point has more design flexibility than this nightmare. It’s built using a UI similar to a lot of online website tools and uses the design language of web design tools, so the comparison is not out of place.

Are you having a problem with a particular feature or did you just want to complain?

Im having issues with the lack of features. I’d like to:

    1. use pngs as icons
    2. set max dimensions for images
    3. be able to copy and paste assets
    4. create static slides
    5. Have any actual control over alignment
    6. have access to margins or the ability to use negative padding
    7. have fixed background images that are stationary when scrolling.
    8. the ability to change the width of columns
    9. be able to delete individual items.

unfortunately, i dont think there is anything that you can do as these very basic features dont exist. im new to this program and am required to use it for work. I am shocked how insanely limiting it is. Just getting a small readable customer logo on a page that already has assets on it is impossible. The footer spot for logos is too small with no way to make it larger, icons must be SVGs and the logo files are pngs so i cant use any of the icon blocks, and i have no control over the size or placement of images. What’s worse is that captivate upscales smaller images rather than letting rest at their native pixel dimensions. Its absurd.
