Why does the option to jump to a specific slide on double-click doesn't work on my project, when the project is viewed on ipad?

I have a project in which I have a click box with an option to take the learner to a specific slide within the project on double-click. This works when viewed on laptop/desktop but doesn't work in ipad. I have published in both SWF and HTML5 format. All of the associated files produced by Captivate 7 are placed on the webserver and I am accessing this project through multiscreen.html file. I would have expected the double-click option to behave as double tapping on ipad, isn't this the case?
