Why does the recorded text in my video demo appear lossy and blurry?

I am trying to create a video demo for a spreadsheet I created. In the past I've used "Demo-builder" and gotten perfect, lossless rendering of even the smallest text. Overall I prefer Adobe products so I'm trying Captivate, but the results -- particularly with text -- are disappointing. The text in the Excel spreadsheet always appears blurry and low-quality. I am not resizing the video, and I've tried the highest possible quality settings without any noticeable improvement. What can I do to fix this? I'm attaching a screenshot of my Demo-builder video as an example of desirable results. Thanks in advance!
