Why does the recording window record areas outside the window and cut off areas inside the window?

When I go to record a software simulation, selecting application as the target to record, the recording window cuts off the top, right of the application window and adds portions of the Desktop to the left-hand side of the recorded area.

    Even for a normal screen, please check the Display %. Win10 tends to make it bigger than 100% and for software recording you need to set it to 100%.

    Which OS do you use? Are you on a retina screen?

    Windows OS 10, and I am not using a Retina display. Janet
