Why does the timeline counter disappear?

I just reviewed another thread where someone reported this issue on version 7.

The issue is alive in Captivate 8.0.1.242. This has been an ongoing issue since v.5.0!

How do we get a bug reported to the developers?

For me it was gone in 7.0.1, never had the problem. But indeed, back in 8. Here is the bug form
