Why doesn't my published project project appear in the "published projects" folder?

When I try to publish a project in Cp8, I get the “publish successful” pop-up, but the project does not appear in my Published Projects folder. I checked to make sure the correct folder is specified in publish settings. Also, since I already have many published projects in my Published Projects folder, I thought perhaps it was too full, so I deleted some. I have cleared cache and saved the project under a different name, but after several attempts at which I get the “publish successful” pop-up, the published project still does not appear in the Published Projects folder. The existing projects in the folder are named “Test-01″ through “Test-36.” The latest one that led to this post is “Test-37.” As I mentioned, I have deleted some to clear room in the folder, but this is not helping. Does anyone have an idea of what might be the problem?

Himanshu Satija, thank you for your response. By following your suggestion, I uncovered the problem, which turned out to be a mistake I had been making all along. Namely: When I originally published this file, I forgot to change the project title to “Test-37,” so after successfully publishing, it appeared in Published Projects under the title of a different file, which I had used to create Test-37. The project was indeed successfully publishing, but under a different title that I was not looking for. Now I have changed the project title to “Test-37″ when publishing it, and it appears in the “Published Projects” folder. Thank you for taking the time to trouble-shoot for me - I was going in circles, and your suggestion helped reveal my own careless mistake so the problem could be fixed.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums .

Please try changing the publish location from publish settings and see if that works for you.

    Regards
