Question

Why is my video demo quality so poor when I upload to YouTube?

I am having issues with the video quality of my published demos degrading signifcantly, especially when I upload them to YouTube.  Any help or tips would be appreciated.  Thanks is advance for any help.  Here are the details:

I am running the 2017 Release (10.0.0.192)

I have tried the video demo on full screen and also application (application region).  The video looks good when I publish it as an mp4 (I've tried the YouTube HD as well as custom settings to match my window screen size), but then when I upload it to YouTube the video is extremely fuzzy and I can't even play it as an HD format eventhough, I published HD quality.

What am I missing?

Please note that the HD versions on YouTube are not always immediately visible, as YT does a lot of optimization on uploaded video's...

Can you please update your version to 10.0.1.285?

What is the width/height ratio you choose for the video (resolution)?

I have tried several different resolutions, but all in pretty similar ranges:

1280 x 593

1250 x 654

1279 x 591

None of those are recommended for YouTube. These are the resolutiions for YouTube:

All are in the common 16:9 format, none of those you mention are. That may explain the blurriness.
