Question

Why is Presenter 10 asking for a disk when installing the downloaded version?

I am trying to install Presenter 10 and it is asking me to insert a disk even though I downloaded the installation file.  I am trying to install Presenter 10 on Windows 7, PowerPoint 2010 and have chosen the 32-bit option to install. After I input my authorization code it starts installing for a few seconds before asking to insert a disk, which I do no have.  The 64-bit version is installing fine but not showing up in PowerPoint 10 and our thinking is because PowerPoint 2010 is 32-bit.  Any suggestions???

Hi,

Please download it from the below link :

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=presenter

Enter your Adobe ID and password. This will download the Presenter installer. Just run the installer. It will determine whether your system has 32/64 bit Office and will install the compatible Presenter.

Let me know if you still face any problem.

Thanks

After downloading, please do not go inside Presenterwin32” folder or the “Presenterwin64” folder .

Use the setup.exe that is outside these folders. It will automatically detect whether your PowerPoint is 32 or 64 bit and will install the corresponding Presenter.

Hope this will resolve your issue.
