Why is slide navigation on TOC blocked while Knowledge-check running?

CP 9.0.2 , responsive project ( pure html )

I have some knowledge-checks spread in the content.

* When i start a knowledge-check and open the TOC, I cant't navigate to any slide before the knowledge-check as long as the audio is playing. After the audio finished ( and the timeline stopped, i assume ), i can do so.

* But i  can navigate to slides behind the knowledge-check while audio is playing.

* This does not depend on which slide the user has seen before. So if i walk from last slide, backwards its the same...

This behavour seems somewhat strange to me. Am i doing something wrong?

Btw. I did NOT check the option which allows the user only to navigate to slides he has visited befor.

    How are the KC slides set up? You talk about 'audio'? Is that slide audio, object audio, audio started with Play Audio?

    Did you keep the default settings, you can check them in this article;

    Knowledge Check Slides - tips - Captivate blog

    In that default setup, Infinite attempts, the user cannot leave the KC slide before answering correctly. In that article I didn't use audio on KC slides, would be interesting to test this out.

    Its an object audio attached to an invisble form. We did it this way to be able to stop this "main" audio to avoid "intersection" with feedback audio if the user acts very fast.

    I had a quick look at your post. Its very interesting and inspiring, but i can't find any reason why we have theses problemes. Since it is a true Knowledge-Check and not a quiz it should not have influence on the toc navigation, as far as i know.

    I forgot to mention that we have selfmade next-slide and previous-slide buttons on our project. while the next-slide button works allways as expected. the previous-slide button does not work at all at the kc-slides (even not at the moment when the toc-link to the same previous slide works). On other normal slides the prevous-button works fine.

    I told you this situation is not treated in the article. This object audio is playing because the object appears? Can I see a screenshot of the timeline, please? Already asked what the setup is for the KC slides? Like Question slides they have a particular design, they do have a pause at 1,5secs in default situations. Did you change that. Did you perhaps delete the Submit button?
