Question

Why SVGs have white background when editing?

Perhaps my question should actually be "Why can't I add media with the 'Add Media' button?" (Clicking the button does nothing...)

Pictures:

I'm curious why Adobe Captivate insists on putting a white background behind my SVGs while in edit mode. This is especially frustrating when working with SVGs that are entirely white, as I can no longer see them at all.

I think it may be a bug, as sometimes the white background will flicker, or disappear for a short time.

Hi,

Please share the projects in which you are seeing the issue. You can upload them to a shared location and send the link to mdas@adobe.com

Thanks,

Mohana

Which version do you use? In which situation is the Media button not responsive? Are you working on a normal or a responsive project. If it is responsive: with Fluid boxes or with Breakpoint views?

How did you create the SVG's?

The media button I was referring to is on this website, when creating a post. It looks as though the media button for comments is working for me.

I am working on a normal project (not responsive.) I downloaded the SVG's online (mostly from flaticon.com)

I don't understand your explanation about the Media button, sorry.

SVG's for Captivate need special setup, I always use Illustrator to create them, but you don't know how the SVG's were created.
