Why won't "Question <x> of <y>" show when published?

I'm using Adobe Captivate Classic  11.8.2.254.  I've created a quiz with a question pool and slides for 50 random questions selected from the pool.  When viewing the Question pool, each slide has "Question <X> of <Y>" showing in the lower left corner of the Question Title box.

But when the quiz is published (or previewed) that information does not show for the quiz taker.

Preferences are set to "Show Progress" with Progress Type "Relative."

Does anyone have any ideas that might help a new user?

Thanks.

I suspect that you use the Blue Veracity theme, which is the default theme in recent versions. This is another bug in that theme, because the Question Title object has a solid white background instead of a transparent one (which is the case for most themes) and the progress indicator is behind that Title object. Rod showed how to change it for an individual slide. An alternative which can be used also on the quizzing master slide is to reduce the height of the Title object on the master slide until you see the progress indicator.

Thanks to both of you - that was the problem and was fixed.

I think you will find that this issue is due to the layer order of the progress caption being underneath that of the Question Title caption.  In Edit mode it appears as if the Progress caption is above the Question Title, but this is misleading.

If you move the Question Title border up a little on each question slide and then Preview again you will see the Progress caption appear.

Unfortunately Captivate doesn't give you an easy option to change the layer order of the objects on a quiz question slide the same way you can do so on normal slides.  The quiz objects do not appear as layers on the timeline.

But another easy way to resolve this issue is either to just reposition the Progress caption to a location on screen where it will not be covered by other objects, or simply to change the Opacity of the white background of the Question Title text to 0 percent which then allows the Progress caption to again be visible.

If this is desirable for all Question Titles then you can save this as the default Object Style for all Question Titles.
