Question

why won't the cursor show in recordings?

I have set my preferences to show the mouse (Preferences > Mouse > Recording > Show Mouse location and movements). But when I record and then preview the slides, the cursor doesn't show in recordings. I can insert a mouse (Insert > Mouse) for each individual slide, but if I try to apply the setting to all slides (the checkbox at bottom of Mouse Properties dialog), the settings aren't applied to all slides; there is still no mouse for subsequent slides. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Hi there

How exactly did you record? What recording mode did you use? Note that only Demonstration mode offers the ability to track mouse movement. If you recorded in one of the two assessment modes, mouse isn't tracked by default.

As for the "Apply to all" functionality, it's going to seem a bit of hit or miss.
