Why wont Powerpoint import in to Captivate 9, it just shows as a blank slides?

HI Guys

Loving the idea of Captivate 9 and its features, not to sure about the nearly £30 pm cost so trialling a version before i make the commitment..

Only thing is i can not import Power Point Mac 2011 in to Captivate 9 on a mac successfully..

When i do it goes through all the steps,,, YAY... but then the slides all come back blank.. BOOO

Help please, if i can get this to work i am all on board and will use the new features loads....

    Hi Stevan,

    Can you please mention the Powerpoint version you are using? Is it happening with every Powerpoint file or with any specific file.?

    Can you please share the Ppt with us to investigate if there is any issue.? You can share the .ppt and .cptx file with us by mailing them to dgp at adobe dot com.

    I rarely try the PPT import, but have seen versions of Office be the issue. Each version of Captivate can only support a range of Office...not too old, not too new. What version of Office/PPT do you have installed?

    Also, perhaps try saving the deck as a .PPT file instead of a .PPTX file and see if that works?

    Overall, Captivate's PPT import is...limited. Far better to take the time to recreate the slides in Captivate manually - much more control and features then available...
